Welcome to the Governors page. All Governors are listed alphabetically by state. Each office's use of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, RSS feeds and Flickr are tracked, as well as other forms of social media a few offices are currently experimenting in. Campaign pages (which ideally must be kept separate, but each state has different regulations in this regard) are dealt with on the Governor Campaigns page along with their respective challengers. All of the icons are linked and clicking on them will take you that Governors's specific social media page. You can move the mouse over the icons in the "Other" section to learn what type of social media they link to.

Rankings

I use one tool to rank Facebook pages and 3 separate tools to rank Twitter accounts. An explanation of who they are and how they calculate their respective ranking scores can be found on the Influence page. The first ranking column is by Klout. The second column rankings is by Twitalyzer. The scores are constantly changing, and my site is not dynamic (i.e. it does not auto-update), so the data is never fresh. However, scores generally do not fluctuate wildly, so they can be thought of as more baseline, ballpark scores. Clicking on any score will take you to an updated version of that score. Fell free to edit the page an update scores - this is a wiki after all.
